|2017 PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
I am proud to announce that the 23rd Annual Dunnville Fair, with the continued support of (1736032 Ontario Inc.) will be held at the old Dunnville Airport Grounds on Friday August 18 and Saturday, August 19.
This year we will again be doing a boot drive for parking as you enter off the road. This will be voluntary if you wish to contribute. The boot drive will be split betweem the RCAF #5 Museum and the Dunnville Agricultural Society.
The Fair will start at 3:00 P.M. on Friday with the demolition derby in the evening and a full day of events on Saturday with the Truck & Tractor Pull in the evening.
There will be lots of things to see: exhibits in the Home-craft Division, Future Farmers Olympics, Petting Zoo, Miniature Horse Show, Baby Show, Sheep and Goat Shows and new this year is a Rabbit Show (Haldimand & Niagara 4H Rabbit Club members). We continue to plan for children and musical entertainment and a midway as well as a bevy of Food Trucks and Vendors.
We are changing to less paper and a more electronic world so check us out on the web and Facebook. New in Sponsorship are Bronze, Silver and Gold levels. I am always thankful to the Haldimand County Grant program and to all of our partners, sponsors, donors, local businesses, exhibitors and community groups that support us throughout the year and for the dedication and hard work of all of the volunteers and the Board of Directors.
We do need your support whether it is financial or volunteering or just come to the Fair so we can help educate you about agriculture and enjoy the entertainment.
I invite one and all to enjoy some family time at the Dunnville Fair.
Thomas L. Hunter, President, Dunnville Agricultural Society.
